Frequently Asked Questions
How can I reserve an apartment?
To reserve an apartment we need a refundable security deposit. This deposit varies as per each property ($250-$800) and is fully refundable upon check out pending there is no damage to the property.
When do I pay for my apartment rental?
Final payment for your rental is due 1 month prior to your check-in date. If you are making a reservation withing 1 month of arrival, then full payment and the sercurity deposit will be due at time of reservation.
How can I make payments?
Payments can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Express and JCB credit cards. Cheques, bank drafts and money orders are also accepted but must be cleared by the bank before your reservation can be confirmed. Wire transfers are also accepted, but are subject to fees as per each banking institution.
What else is not included in the price?
Nothing. Other then 6% GST tax on durations less then 1 month, everything else is inlcuded in the rental rate of our apartments. In most of our apartments this means cable TV, high speed internet, local telephone and hydro are all included. Some apartments charge additional for tenants requiring parking.
Non-residents of Canada are eligable for a refund of the GST tax upon departure from Canada. You can print the refund form and review the information from the Canada Revenue Agency Website.
How do I get my security deposit back?
Upon check out we will inspect the apartment to ensure that there is no damage to the property or missing furnishings. If everything is inorder, we will refund your security deposit. If the deposit has been paid by credit card, this may take up to 5 business days to show up on your card.
What else is need to make a reservation?
To complete a reservation, we need the names are all person who are going to be occupying the apartment. We would also need your full address, phone number(s) and email address. We will also request your arrival time into Vancouver as this will help expediate the check-in procedures.
How do I check in?
Upon completion of your reservation, we will provide you with a phone number to the property owner/manager. When you arrival into Vancouver please contact the property owner/manager at least 30 minutes prior to your arrival at the apartment to arrange the meeting and check-in.
When can I check in/check out?
Check in time is anywhere between 2pm and 8pm. If you are arriving at the apartment late in the evening (after 8pm), a $20 late check-in fee may apply depending on the property reserved. Check out time is 11am. Late check out can be requested and is dependant on the properties cleaning schedule.
How many people can stay in an apartment?
This varies as per each apartment, but generally, Studios and accommodate 2 persons, One bedrooms can accommodate up to 3 person and 2-bedrooms up to 4 persons. Folding beds and cribs are available at not cost at specific apartments only.
What is included in each apartment?
Once again this varies as per each apartment. However, each apartment comes fully furnished with all the required utensils, furniture and linens to make your stay comfortable. All of the apartment also included high-speed internet, cable TV and local telephone. Parking is available at most apartments for a nominal fee. A printer/fax machine is also available upon request.
Is smoking allowed?
All of the apartments listed on this site are strictly non-smoking. If any evidence of smoking is detected you will forfeit your security deposit.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not allowed in any of our apartments.
